I was looking at the 3 Dogs kit you put CF on the fin can. A question how do you finish off the CF to airframe to get a smooth finish on the top of fin can side of airframe.

However, I would say the important part is using a good epoxy system with plenty of elbow grease. I used nylon release ply from aircraft spruce (item number 01-14820) which allows you to see and work out air bubbles in your layup. You will need to do light sanding with fine grit sandpaper then re-coat with thin layers of epoxy. I did this five times to get the polished look I wanted.
